Blissful rolling melodies will come through your speakers when you listen to German Error Message‘s latest album Mend.
Written and recorded by Nashville-based songwriter and producer Paul Kintzing, Mend is the fifth album from this amazing artist.
Released on March 29, Mend features an unique blend of folk and electronic, but really where a song falls on the spectrum of that relationship varies by the track. For instance, “Hopelessness” features beautiful guitar riffs that bring to mind the early morning sun breaking over the trees. There is a distinct warmth to the track, but there is a foreboding as well.
On the other hand, “Murmuring” has a distinct cinematic electronic feel to it, something along the lines of what you’d expect from Cinematic Orchestra. This track feels colder, lonely, like the type of loneliness that envelopes you when you miss a loved one.
Really Mend is an emotional rollercoaster, but in the best possible way. It is a cathartic journey that leaves you breathless at the end.
