From their album Sleep Walk, released this past March, comes the latest single and video from Toronto’s own Beautiful Nothing.
“Simple Lies” is a stunningly composed retro ballad. The music is a modern twist on the 80s electro-synths combined with rock vocals. And the result is a captivating harmony.
The video, which was directed by Michael Greggain of Deep Field Productions, is equally enthralling with its examination on the effects of time both on a person and on a relationship. The awareness of how fast time passes is juxtaposed against how time also seems to stand still at crucial moments in our lives. Check it out.
Keep up with Beautiful Nothing
